Diane was the only child of Aline Thorn Worden and Stanley Worden. She graduated from King High School and attended college at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM, studying Music. That's where she met the love of her life, Greg Pierson. They were married March 27, 1974 in Corpus Christi. Shortly thereafter, they started their life in the U.S. Air Force when Greg enlisted.
