Ida passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family. Ida was preceded by husband Joe V. Martinez, son Ruben, and sisters Maria and Tina. Survivors included children Rudy (Lucille), Mary Ann (William) Gofidan, Joe, Claudia (John Sr.), Thomas (Sarah), Benny (Theresa), Danny, and Amelia, all of Colorado. After her sister Maria's death, Ida helped to raise Maria's family and is survived by her children; Manuel, Estella, Linda, and Ruben. Ida was the beloved grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated March 18 at St. Theresa Church, 436 5th Street, Frederick. Private Inurnment service held April 3 at Fort Logan. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
