Her obituary in the Washington Post, November 19, 1950 says that she had eight brothers and five sisters, of whom only 2 brothers (James and John) were still living at her death. She was born near Lovingston, VA. Burial at Rock Creek Cemetery.
According to her hand-written journal, her husband Samuel Goodwin is buried in Section S, under a big tree. She was buried in the same family plot.
