Musician. Gibson will best be remembered as the backing guitarist for the metal group Korn. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2002, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he first worked as a roadie for KISS. After the departure of Brian 'Head' Welch, Korn chose not to replace their longtime guitarist, instead opting to hire live performers to fill his spot. Gibson was recruited in 2007 and played with Korn until 2010. Among bands he went on to play with SchwarZenatoR, stOrk and also contributed to Korn singer Jonathan Davis' solo album. Gibson died from complications due to a blood clotting disorder.
