RITES WEDNESDAY IN ATLANTA FOR EMMETT DOGGETT
Funeral services for Emmett Doggett, 82 of Atlanta, who died early today at a Kirksville Hospital, will be held Wednesday at the Primitive Baptist Church in Atlanta. Burial will be in Steele Cemetery. Mr. Doggett, who was engaged in farming west of Atlanta for many years, had made his home with his children since the death of his wife several years ago.
He is survived by one son, Odell Doggett of La Plata; and one daughter, Mrs. Cleone Beason of Atlanta.
The body was taken to the Goodding Funeral Home in Atlanta and will be taken this afternoon to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Beason of near Atlanta, to lie in state until the funeral hour.∼Missouri Marriage Records:
