Funeral Home Obituary
LINDA LYDIA HEIDEBRECHT
Age 73, of Lawton, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Faith Bible Church with Rev. Leonard Reimer, Pastor officiating.
Mrs. Heidebrecht died Monday, April 4, 2005, in a local nursing center. Burial will be at 3:00 PM Friday in the Corn M.B. Cemetery, Corn, Oklahoma, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.
She was born on September 23, 1931 in Inola, Oklahoma to Isaac and Lydia (Steinert) Plett. She attended school at Inola and graduated from Corn Bible Academy in Corn, Oklahoma. Music came naturally for her and she was
always involved with choirs and various musical groups as the pianist. Her musical talent was used throughout her life and especially through church. She gave private piano lessons for many years. In 1951, she attended Fresno Pacific Bible Institute.
She married John W. Heidebrecht on January 26, 1952 in Fresno, California. She was a faithful wife and worker as she and her husband entered a rural Arkansas Ministry. They later came to Lawton and Indiahoma to minister. Linda gave birth to five children whom she nurtured faithfully and led to Christ through her Godly
living.
In 1997 she was diagnosed with a debilitating disease. Even though she suffered a great deal, she never complained. In her last days she still enjoyed the church fellowship and prayed faithfully.
Survivors Include her husband John of the home; two daughters, Beverly Garner and husband Vincent of Oklahoma City, and Judy Voska and husband Doug of Sacramento, Calif.; two sons, Steve and wife Annette of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Tim Heidebrecht of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Leona Carr and Luella Wedel, both of Tulsa; nine grandchildren, Tena Sharp and husband Michael, John Heidebrecht, Malachi Garner, Joey Voska, Blake Heidebrecht, Rebecca Voska, Rachel Voska, Aaron and Ashton Heidebrecht; two great-grandchildren, Jason and Reagan Sharp.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles David "Chucky" Heidebrecht; four brothers, Albert, Jonas, Rudolf and Isaac, Jr.; and two sisters, Ruth and Rosella.
