Homer C. Henderson, 79, of Rt. 2 Fairview, died Friday in his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1902, a son of the late Tuper Jerome and Mary E. Moore Henderson.
He was a retired pipe fitter and was a member of the Local 152 Pipe Fitters Union in Morgantown. He was affiliated with the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Daybrook.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Regina Michael, Mrs. Mary Ann Rogers, Mrs. Susan Jane Stout; one step son, Wayne (Mac) Varner; one brother, Dewey Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. Audie E Tennant and Mrs. Sue Looman; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was married twice, his first wife, Gladys Headley Henderson died in 1946, and his second wife, Pansy Varner Henderson, died in 1968. Three brothers, a sister, and a grandchild are deceased. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
