Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Dee Lusk, age 73, was born December 2, 1932 and died March 2, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired construction worker and farmer and a member of the New Union Methodist Church, he was the son of the late F.O. and Mamie Beasley Lusk. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jeff Bratcher. He was married to Betty Gribble Lusk of Rock Island, TN May 18, 1957. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Delois Bratcher of McMinnville, Donna Daniel of Nashville, TN, and Doris and Jr. Stephens of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Dylan Stephens, Joshua Dee Bratcher, Jacob Paul Bratcher and Katelyn Stephens all of McMinnville and Taylor Mullican of Nashville, TN; brother, Bill Lusk of McMinnville; sister, Florence Terry of Celina, TN; special aunt, Eureatha London of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 in High's Chapel with Danny Whitson, David Grissom, and Tim Lewis officiating. Burial followed in the New Union Cemetery on Hwy. 30.
