FLORENCE M. POWELL
Florence M. Powell, 91, died at Dickey nursing-home Wednesday evening after an extended illness. She was born March 15, 1881 in Illinois the daughter of Earl and Sarah Powell. She was a retired employee of Mercy hospital and attended the East Main Street Christian Church. Survivors include one brother, Clarence Powell of Elwood; one niece, Mrs. Charles Stickler; and one nephew, Earl Powell, both of Elwood. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Copher and Fesler funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood city cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
