Operations against guerrillas in North Central Missouri August 30-September 7. Action at Shelbina September 4. Expedition to Fonda against Green's forces September 8-9. Moved to Liberty September 12. Action at Blue Mills September 17. Operations in North Missouri till October 18. At Quincy, Ill., November. Regiment reunite. Moved to Benton Barracks and duty there till December 26.
