Geraldine was the only child born to the late Oray and Luby Mae Ducote born on March 18, 1941.
She was a devoted and loving wife to the late Michael Andy Johnson for 29 years and loving mother to two sons, Mark and the late Jerry A. Johnson.
Geraldine is survived by four grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren and will be sadly missed by numerous relatives and friends. Being an only child, Geraldine always cherished her relationships with her cousins.
Geraldine has been a resident of Waggaman, Louisiana since 1964, and was born and raised in Cottonport, Louisiana. She was educated at St. Mary's Elementary School and graduated in 1959 from Cottonport High School.
Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS, 6851 River Road, Waggaman, on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will begin at church 11:00 in the morning. Interment will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale.
