Major League Baseball Player. He was a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers where he went 37-46 in five seasons from 1925 to 1930. In midseason, he was traded to the New York Yankees and later purchased by the Cincinnati Reds where he stayed through 1932. He played two more years with the Brooklyn Dodgers. In his nine year career, he went 64-90.
