Leona was born on Oct. 23, 1919, in Cassville, Wis., daughter of John and Tilly (Lancaster) Cornwell.
Surviving are a son, Don Bruce, of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchilden, Tania Bruce and Alixandra Hunsucker, both of Dubuque , Randall Bruce, of Tampa, J. Scott Bruce, of Humble, Texas, and Michelle Beckman, of Longmont, Colo.; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Ferring , of Lansing, Iowa; and a loving friend, Jean Bruce.
