Darleen W. Hiltabidel, 82, of Connellsville, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at Uniontown Hospital. She was born April 25, 1927, in Mill Run, a daughter of the late Edward Miner and Gertrude Bowers. She was a loving homemaker for many years. She is survived by her children, Kevin Hiltabidel, of Melcroft, Robert Hiltabidel and his wife, Toni, of Florida, and Luanne McCargo, of Uniontown; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Miner; two sisters, Evelyn Bosley and Ellen Lawver, all of Connellsville; and also several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Miner; and two sisters, Marcine Miner and Twila Bowers. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, and from 10 until the hour of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Mark Sholtis officiating. Interment will follow in Normalville Cemetery.
