ANNISTON - Henry Lee, 92, died at 4:17 a.m. Jan. 9, 2010, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Sept. 27, 1917, in Wickliffe, Ky., to the late William and Rosie
Fields Lee. He was retired from the Mississippi County Highway Department and was of the Baptist belief.
On Feb. 14, 1941, he married Jesse Alene Hudson, who preceded him in death on July 18, 1990.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Lindsey Barry Lee; one daughter, Brenda Morgan; six brothers, John Lee, Shelton Lee, Marion Lee, Bill Lee, Marcie Lee and Ralph Lee; three sisters, Zora Davis, Ora Lee and Dora Lee; and one granddaughter, Jamie Housman.
He is survived by: two sons and daughters-in-law, Lanny and Deborah Lee of Sweetwater, Texas, and Kevin Lee and Judy Tatum of Anniston; one
sister, Minnie Warren of Mesa, Ariz.; and 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled at 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral
Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Dennis Lowe officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Jones, Larry Fredrick, Phillip Johnson, Fred Reynolds, Opie M Tatum and Gary Neal. Honorary pallbearers will be: James Knupp, J.C. Colt, Bob Jones, Thomas Jones and Kenneth Knupp.
