KENNETH WAYNE STAGGS
Kenneth Wayne Staggs, 65, of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:51 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in Union Hospital. He was born April 8, 1948, in Parke County, Ind., to Hasel R. Staggs and Ruby L. Keen Staggs.
Kenneth retired as a custodian for the South Vermillion School Corporation after 17 years of service. He was a member of the Dresser Church in West Terre Haute, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and raising rabbits.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Linda I. Ward Staggs, whom he married on Dec. 22, 1970; a daughter, Sherry Staggs of Clinton; a sister, Alice Daves of Clinton; several aunts; and many cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carol Sheldon; and his grandparents.
Funeral services for Kenneth will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., in West Terre Haute, with the Rev. Buddy White officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and prior to services Tuesday. Friends are invited to leave online condolences to the family at:
