He married 10 Apr 1860 in Meaford, County Grey, Ontario Canada Elizabeth Jane Lloyd (1844–1917), daughter of Edward Lloyd (1820–1890) and his wife Arline/Arlina Parker (1825–1906). Andrew was treasurer of County Grey and under the shadow of scandal involving county funds came to the United States with his wife and several of his children. He died 20 JAN 1898 • Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska, USA.
