Services for W. Arthur Rees,75, former manager of apartments and hotels here, including the Holland Hotel, will be at 1 p.m. today in Greenwood mortuary. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. He died in a hospital on Sunday.
Rees who was born in Oregon, lived here for 29 years. He was the member of Hotel Greeters Assn., American Association of Retired Persons, and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in San Diego. He is survived by his widow, Nellie B.; a step-daughter, Miss Eileen Best of San Diego and two Step-sons, including Douglas Best of Escondido and four grandchildren.
