Mildred P. Rhome, 55, of 28415 Gilson Road, died Tuesday at 1:10 p.m. at Salem Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 27, 1925, in Charleston, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late John Nelson and Gertrude Mary Prendergast Johnson.
A homemaker, she resided in this vicinity for 30 years and was a member of the North Georgetown Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Rhome, Dec. 9, 1972, and also a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Mary) Greiner, Nov, 15, 1975.
Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. John (Marie) Crawford of Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Nancy) Porter of Alliance, Mrs. Willard (Anna Mae) Johnson of Alliance, and Mrs. Gertrude Gary of Graysville, Pa.; two brothers, Robert Johnson of North Georgetown and Thoimas Lee Johnson of Cameron, W. Va., three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
