Houston "Red" Tracy Sr.

Services for Houston "Red" Tracy, Sr. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 22, 2010, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Brother Charles Seal officiating and assisted by Bo Johnson. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery, Glenmora, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Tracy, 87, of Magnolia, Arkansas, formerly of Alexandria, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010, at his residence.

He was a member of Church of Christ, Glenmora and the U. S. Postmasters Association. He also belonged to the VFW Post # 1736. Mr. Tracy was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a loving husband and father and truly lived his life to the fullest and never met anyone he didn't like.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Pearl Stephens Tracy; parents, Levi Edward and Alma Mae Potter Tracy; daughter, Redlynn Tracy; brothers, Richard Tracy, Ellis P. Tracy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Houston Tracy, Jr.; daughters, Tana Tracy Braswell, Rose Tracy; grandchildren, Richard R. Harwood, III and wife Kimberly, Christine Harwood Keating & husband Chris, Yvonne Woodruff Rogers, Christopher Braswell and wife Emily; great grandchildren, Kendall Braswell, Austin Rogers, Dalton Rogers, Karis, Alaina, & Emily Harwood, Finn Keating.
