Elouise Lorinda Cross Walls, 78, passed away with her daughter and granddaughter by her side Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her residence in Yorktown following an extended illness. She was born in Muncie, October 18, 1935, the daughter of Gayson and Elfie Garrett Terry, and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1953.
Elouise was formerly employed at Durham Manufacturing. She was a charter member of the Eastside Baptist Church where she was church pianist for many years.
Surviving are her daughter, Janet Blackmer, (husband, Butch); her granddaughter, Aimie Little, (husband, Richard), Muncie; two grandsons, Zachary Guffey and Evan Little; two sisters, Amaryllis Sewell, (husband, Alvis), Yorktown, and Gladys Goad, (husband, William), Selma; her brother, Gayson Terry, (wife, Evelyn), Bowling Green, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Walls; her son, Robert Cross; two brothers, Ronald and Raiford Terry; and her sister, Imogene Peters.
