Paul Barnett Jr. 90, of rural Kirklin, died May 31, 2014 at Eskenazi Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. Born February 29, 1924 in Boone County to the late Paul & Mayme (Morton) Barnett Sr. He married Belva Jane Spray on June 17, 1944 in Kirklin and she survives. Mr. Barnett grew up in Clinton County, was a 1943 graduate of Kirklin Schools, moving to Boone County in 1956. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served from Sept. 2, 1944 to March 4, 1946. Mr. Barnett farmed for 42 years, farming in Clinton and Boone Counties. He was a member of Scotland Christian Church, a 50 year member of Pickard Masonic Lodge and the Kirklin American Legion.

(Patty) Barnett of rural Sheridan, 2 Grandsons: Jeffrey L. (Denae) Barnett of Zionsville, Jason C. (Jodi) Barnett of Lebanon, 6 Great Grandsons, Tyler, Bryce, Ryan, Wyatt, Ethan and Colton.
