Jimmy was born to Quintin L. Shipman and Janell R. Hedrick. He graduated from Ft. Lupton High School in 2002. Since 2006, he had worked as a mason for J&C Foundations, Inc. in Broomfield. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He also loved working on junk cars. Jimmy was down to earth, enjoyed life and loved his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ft. Lupton. Survivors beside his parents included: grandparents Trish (Donald) Holmquest, Richmond, TX, Jim (Patricia) Headrick, Dayton, TX, and Janice Headick, Denver; sisters Jennifer Shipman, Denver, Kati Shipman and Kara Shipman both of Dayton, TX, and Journey Shipman, Richmond, TX; and long-time girlfriend Elizabeth Wertz. Preceding was grandfather Jim Shipman. Funeral Services held April 22nd at First Baptist Church of Ft. Lupton. Memorial contributions made to the Jimmy Shipman Memorial Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 15 South Main Street, Brighton 80601. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
