He is buried with his wife, Rose Campanella LoMonte. Lorenzo, born in Mezzojuso, Palermo, Sicilia, Italy, is the son of Vittoriano Victor LoMonte and Pasquala Canzoneri. He is the brother of Giovanni John LoMonte, Giuseppa LoMonte and Anna LoMonte Pennachio. He is the father of Lillian Virginia LoMonte Turner and Luella Cathern LoMonte Mayfield from a union with Nancy Jane Starks. Both daughters were born in the States, Lillian in 1901 in Ohio, and Luella in 1903 in West Virginia. Lorenzo returned to Italy, married Rosa and came back to the States on 3 May 1913. A week later, he crossed into Canada and settled in Toronto where he made his living as a fruit merchant. He and Rosa have one daughter, Esther. Lorenzo is my great grandfather.
