MRS. ANNA SMITH MOREDOCK
Mrs. Anna Smith Moredock, 72, wife of Earl Thomas (Mac) Moredock of Jefferson, died in the Greene County Memorial Hospital at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 1952, after a brief illness.
A daughter of Dennis and Maranda Long Smith, the deceased was born June 25, 1879 in Greene Township, near Fordyce. Although she had resided at Jefferson for a number of years, she retained her membership in the Monongahela Circuit Methodist Church at Fordyce.
Surviving in addition to her husband, whom she married May 29, 1907, are three sons, Charles Moredock, of Masontown, Albert Moredock of Weirton, W, Va., and Ray Moredock of Jefferson; one daughter, Mary, wife of Herbert DeBolt of Masontown; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Wesley H. Smith of Waynesburg and Miss Emma L. Smith of Waynesburg, R. D. 2.
One son, Dennis, is deceased.
