Henry Amundson, 95, Inkster, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994, in the Larimore (N.D.) Good Samaritan Center.

Henry Amundson was born March 39, 1899, in Preston, Minn. the son of Julius and Margaret (Oleson) Amundson. The family lived at Johnstown and Ardoch, N.D., and he attended schools and farmed at Inkster. He served 23 years on the Inkster School Board. He married Sara Bannerman Nov. 16, 1926, at Inkster. They moved to the nursing home Oct. 17.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Mary (Mrs. Ronald) Whaley, Fordville, N.D., and Margaret (Mrs. Robert Woods) Forest River, son, Thomas, Inkster, 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Shirley Amundson, Grand Forks; sister-in-law, Betty Amundson, Tigard, Ore., and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, George; sister, Mary; and brothers, Ben, Carl, Arnold, Orin and Martin.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Faith Lutheran Church, Inkster.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Bakke Funeral Home, Fordville, N.D., and the hour before services in church.

Burial: Inkster Cemetery.
