Amy Jane Applegren, 94, of Peoria died Sunday, Nov. 30, 1997, at Rosewood Care Center of Peoria.
Born May 13, 1903, in Gilchrist to Robert Thomas and Amy Jane Berry Gardiner, she married Roy Edward Applegren on June 2, 1921, in Peoria. He died April 16, 1974, in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Swanson, seven brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Edward of Bartonville and Robert of West Peoria; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Eileen) Keenan of Morton and Amy Applegren of Peoria, with whom she made her home; and one sister, Elizabeth Garland of Peoria.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
