Daughter of Auburn clergyman Joseph Macaulay, wife of Forrest Hill whom she married in 1900. They were the parents of one son, Forrest Macaulay Hill (1907-1947). Lena's husband worked in Sacramento and his 'hometown' of Roseville in real estate. She died in 1943.
