Travis Edwin Helms, 64, Salina, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007.
Mr. Helms was born April 10, 1943 in Guion, Ark. He was a machinist.
He served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967.
Survivors include a daughter, Tamela Helms of San Jose, Calif.; a brother, Othell of Glen Carbon, Ill.; and a sister, Phillis Rick of Salina.
Memorials services are planned for a later date.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Neb.
Memorials may be sent to the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Wichita.
There will be no visitation.
