Captain U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam War-Capt. Dicke was killed in action by an explosive device on 6-14-1971 while serving as an Infantry Officer with the 147th Naval Battalion {RVN}, USMC Advance Unit, Naval Advance Group.

He is the son of Mr. Clarence C. & Mrs. Ruth E. Dicke of 5514 Seeley Avenue, Downers Grove, Illinois.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal.
