William M Condon, 61, died Friday in Chicago. Services were held in Chicago Monday at 9:30 AM when a Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated in St. Bride's Church. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Chicago.
Mr. Condon was born in Galesburg and attended the Galesburg schools. He had resided in Chicago since 1920 and was employed as a switchman by the Wabash Railroad 38 years. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife; a brother, John Condon; four sisters, Miss Mary E Condon, Mrs. Anna Sharp and Mrs. Genevieve Keefe, all of Galesburg, and Mrs. Agnes Fifield of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy J Condon.
