Helen Pauline Hershey Wheelock was my maternal great-grandmother. Unfortunately, she died a short time after I was born. She is descended from the original Hershey clan in Pennsylvania from Switzerland.
She married twice. First was to my great-grandfather Melvin Butler Wheelock who died in Arizona in 1979. The second was named William Barrell.
Her children include my grandma, Melva Wheelock Coleman Seaman, my great-uncle Eugene Wheelock, my great-uncle Lee Wheelock, my great aunt Charlotte Wheelock Moreaux (who is buried right next to her mom), and her last baby, my great-uncle Dale Roland Barrell (12 Nov 1930–16 Jan 2012).
