Atlee Roy Cornwell, 78, Digby, passed away January 13, 2004, at home. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late Almon Jacob and Jennie (Kaulback) Cornwell. He was employed for many years at MacDonald Motor Company and retired from Conway Co-Op Society. He was a member of Grace United Church.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Annie (Comeau); daughters, Jeanette (Wayne) Snow, Digby; Faye (Ron) Bessey, Dartmouth; Lynn Cornwell, Dartmouth; Margie, Oregon, U.S.A.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his half-brother, Chester Brinton; half-sister, Pauline Hawkins.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in Grace United Church, Rev. Linda Reid officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Donations to Grace United Church or a charity of choice.
