Prentiss L. Whited, age 82 of Pratt, Kansas passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Pratt Medical Center,at Pratt, Kansas. Prentiss was born February 1, 1932 to Farris Sigmon and Lillie Mae (Kendrick) Whited at Hominy, Oklahoma. Prentiss and Patience Delilah Brown were married May 8, 1955 at Great Bend, Kansas. She preceded him in death August 13, 2007. He was a retired oil field driller. He was a member of the Episcopal Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings: Clifford Whited, Kenneth Whited, Leon Whited, Fern Roberson and Bonnie Whited.
Graveside Service at the A.J. Powell Cemetery will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
