Born to Ethel (Bingham) and Bell (not Bill) Bradshaw, who divorced when she was a young girl, Jessie was raised by various relatives. After graduating Brady High School in Brady, Texas, Jessie attended Western Union School and enjoyed a long and successful career with the company. Married to Donald Erbie Woodard, she was the mother of three children, one of whom predeceased her. Jessie now rests with Donald and their daughter Nancy in Laurel Land.
