VERDA MARIE DARR

Mrs. Darr 85, formerly of 1500 Princeton Road. Greenwood, died at 4:45 a. m. today, May 1, 1985. in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was born June 8. 1899. in Tatesville. the daughter of James H. and Susan Jane (Edwards) Fluke, and May 8. 1918, in Baltimore. Md., married Howard J. Darr, who died June 11, 1966.
Surviving are three children: Howard J. of Troy, Betty J. Stoner of Greenwood, with whom she had resided, and Mary Lou Goodyear of El Paso, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Darr was a member of the Altoona Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home.

DARR — Services for Verda Marie Darr, formerly of 1500 Princeton Road. Greenwood, will be held at 11 a.m . Saturday in the William G. Bigleow Funeral Home, by the Rev. Glenn Barner.
Interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the William G. Bigleow Funeral Home.
