Services for Johnny W. Huckell, 74, of Chula Vista, were Wednesday in Community Congregational Church of Chula Vista. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Greenwood Mortuary was in charge. He died Sunday at his home.
Mr. Huckell was born in North Dakota and lived in the county 46 years. He had been a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 1300 and Eagles Aerie 244.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, Wayne, of Bonita; a daughter, Marlene Hirtzel of Chula Vista; a brother, William, of San Diego; three sisters, Margie Nichols of La Mesa, Bessie Stabnow of South Dakota and Nellie Herman of Minnesota; and three grandchildren.
