He was a member of the California Nevada Conference of Methodist Churches. He is survived by his widow, Theresa Swenson; two daughters, Geneva Klein of Ventura, and Miriam Samuelson of Highland Park; three, sons, Philip and James Swenson of Highland Park and Jonathan Swenson of Ventura; and three grandchildren."
