MADISONVILLE , Ky. -- Deborah Jean "Debbie" Fields , 48, of Madisonville , died 10:47 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville .
She was born Nov. 24, 1954, in Hopkins County, Ky., to Anna Sue Christenson Omer of Madisonville and Jack Gene Kirk of Springville, Tenn. She was a server at the Cracker Barrel restaurant and was a school bus driver for Hopkins County Schools for 10 years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Richard "Rip" Fields of Madisonville ; one daughter, Melissa Fields Gower of Madisonville ; one son, Jason Fields of Madisonville ; two brothers, Jackie F. Kirk of Terre Haute, Ind., and Darrell W. Kirk of Madisonville ; one grandson; one step granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with the Rev. Jeff Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
