SILVERTON, Sept. 14 (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Birdie Hester, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Methodist Church of Silverton with the Rev. James P. Patterson pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Silverton Cemetery under direction of the Douglas Funeral Home of Silverton.
Mrs. Hester died at 2:55 a.m. today in Lockney General Hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1867 in Franklin County, Ala.
She had been a resident of the Silverton area for the past 24 years.
Surviving are five sons, Donnie of Silverton, Charley of Sweetwater, Benton of Lubbock, Dow of Roswell, N. M. and Porter of Los Angeles, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Smith of Silverton; 29 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
