Rock Musician. A guitarist, he was a founding member of the British ensemble "The Outfield." Formed in Manchester, England during the early 1980s, their love for American baseball led to the group's naming. "The Outfield" recorded their debut album "Play Deep" (1986) and yielded the hit "Your Love" which charted at number six in the United States. They went on to release five more studio albums before disbanding during the 1990s. Spinks died from cancer.
