Patricia Patti Ann Glaeser-Kaufman

Patricia A. "Patti" Kaufmann, age 40, of 2748 Fricke Drive, Manitowoc, died on Monday, May 2, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

Patti was born on Oct. 31, 1970, in Manitowoc, daughter of Mamie (Taylor) Glaeser and the late Dale L. Glaeser.

On May 11, 1996, she married David J. Kaufmann in Manitowoc.

Patti was employed at Weyerhauser in Manitowoc. She enjoyed furthering her education and was an avid animal lover.

Patti was a candidate for position of Manitowoc County Coroner and was an EMTI. She was also a past deputy coroner and had also worked for the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department.

Patti, in her passing, participated in the organ donor program.

Survivors include her husband: David J. Kaufmann, Manitowoc; her mother: Mamie Taylor-Kasbohm-Glaeser (Walter Dabeck), Manitowoc; her half-siblings: James "Mike" Kasbohm, Portsmouth, Va., Katherine (James "Hambone") Riley, Green Cove Springs, Fla., Charles (Cecelia) Kasbohm, Charleston, S.C., Melinda "Mindy" (Bruce) Salamon, White, Ga., Kim Myers, Mt. Vernon, Wash.; her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Kathleen Hansen and Thomas Kaufmann, Valders; a brother-in-law: Matthew (Jeni) Kaufmann, Valders; and a sister-in-law: Michelle Kaufmann, New York, NY. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Cremation will occur after the service at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Patti will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 (TODAY) and Friday morning, May 6, 2011, from 10 to 11:15 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patti's name may be directed to the Manitowoc County Humane Society.
