Mrs. Catherine Berger

Mrs. Catherine Berger, 83, died Monday, November 26, 1928, at the home of her son, F.W. Berger, in Henry Township, Payne county, Oklahoma. Her home was in Douglass, Kans., and she had come to Payne county to spend the winter with her son. She had been at his home two weeks. A paralytic stroke was the cause of her death.

The body was taken to Douglas Tuesday for burial.

Mrs. Berger is survived by six children, twenty-two grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. The children are Charles S. Berger, Douglass, Kan.; F.W. Berger, Henry township; Herbert S. Berger, Mulvane, Kan.; Mrs. Grace Darter, Belle Plaine, Kans.; Mrs. Alice Dunn, Santa Anna, Calif.; and John Berger, Douglass, Kans.

Mrs. Berger was a member of the Christian church and of the Rebekah Lodge.
