Geneva Gay Fox, 78, of Albany, GA, died July 9, 2014 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens.
A native of Smithfield, WV, Mrs. Fox was a homemaker and military wife and traveled to numerous duty stations with her husband before moving to Albany, GA in 1976. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church where she attended Good News and Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her parents Arlis and Alma Price.
Survivors include her husband, Bob E. Fox of Albany, GA, two sons, Kenneth Fox and his wife, Rhonda of Mitchell County, GA and Robert Fox of Worth County, GA, two daughters Linda Snyder and her husband, Terry of Walker County, GA and Nancy Walters of Worth County, GA, two sisters, Margaret Smith and her husband, Doug of Orwell, OH and Loretta Gump and her husband, Bill of Jacksonburg, WV, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
