Actor. He will probably be rest remembered for playing the gun store proprietor which 'Tuco' (played by Eli Wallach) holds up in the classic Spaghetti Western "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966). Born Vincenzo Squatriti in Naples, Italy, he had a lengthy association with the theater under the direction of Eduardo De Filippo. He gradually moved on to film and usually was cast in comedic parts in pictures guided by many notable Italian directors including Dino Risi "The Widower" (1959) and Vittorio De Sica "The Last Judgement" (1961).
