Virginia E. Wall, age 79 of Elwood, died November 15, 2005 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1926 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a Homemaker most of her life. She had also worked in production at RCA Corporation in Marion for several years before retiring in 1970. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Weight Watchers Club and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include: 6 Children - Doyle Davis of Elwood, Dale Davis of Elwood, Donald Davis of Elwood, Marsha Frye of Murpheesboro, TN, Marla Davis of Indianapolis, and Myra and husband Ronald West of Frankton; 3 Sisters – Gertrude Everling of Elwood, Louise Shephard of Converse, and Bernice Webb of Warsaw; 6 Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; and Several Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Parents – William and Zura (Bourff) Loy; Husband whom she married November 18, 1971and who died March 24, 2001 – Lawrence Wall; 2 Brothers – Randall Loy and Herbert Loy; and former husband Burley Davis.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Charles Fields officiating. Burial will take place in the Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 8 PM Friday, November 18, 2005 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
