Agatha von Brunswick Aetheling Princess of Hungary was born abt 1018 in Esztergom, Komarom-Esztergom, Hungary. Agatha was the daughter of King (Saint) Stephen (King of Hungary)(975-1038) and Saint Gisela of Bavaria (1002-1042). This is the information I had about her. Apparently there is a lot of confusion about her birth. I have read on the Family Search site that her parents were: Árpád-házi I.Szent István Magyar király

Male 29 December 0969–15 August 1038  and Gisele Princess Bavaria Queen Of Hungary Female 0985–7 May 1065

Agatha was the wife of Edward the Exile (heir to the throne of England) and mother of Edgar Ætheling, Saint Margaret of Scotland and Cristina of England. Agatha and Edward were married in Hungary in 1035. Agatha was 17 years of age. Prince Edward was the son of Edmund II "Ironside" King of England (989-1016) and Ealdgyth Algitha Morcarson Queen Consort of England (992-1016). Princess Agatha was 26 years old when her first child, Christina was born. She was 27 when her second daughter, Margaret was born, and she was 33 when her last child was born. He was her only son, Eadgar Æðeling, Uncrowned King of England.

Agatha was a kinswoman of "Emperor Henry". She came to England with her husband and children in 1057, but she was widowed shortly after her arrival. Following the Norman conquest of England, in 1067 she fled with her children to Scotland, finding refuge under her future son-in-law Malcolm III.

Agatha died about 1067 in Scotland. According to another descendant: She is buried in Dunfermline Abbey, Fife. Later transferred to Escorial, Madrid; her head being buried in Jesuit College, Douai. More research needs to be done.
