Robert E. Sorenson passed away on July 20, 2014 in Bryan, Texas. He was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota. With 20 years in the United States Navy, and 7 of those as a Chief Petty Officer, he was very dedicated and proud to serve his country. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening, hunting, and just being part of nature.

He is preceded in death by his brother, David Allen Sorenson; and his parents, Sophie and Elmer Sorenson.

Bob leaves his loving wife, of 34 years, Valerie Sorenson; three sons, Thomas Sorenson of Corpus Christi, Texas, Robert Sorenson, Jr. of San Francisco, California, Ronald Sorenson of Phoenix, Arizona; mother-in-law and friend, Gill Shiel; sisters-in-law, Pamela Walker, Patricia Sorenson; brother-in-law, Ronald Murawski; and nephews, Michael Walker, Ronald Murawski, Jr., and Steven Murawski.

Entombment to follow service at Seaside Memorial Park.
