Phillip and his wife Lucretia were married by G. C. Anderson in Mercer county 16 Feb 1893. Her name on this ledger was L.C. Hubbard. It appears that a side note, abbreviated, may say there was consent of a guardian (the image is hard to make out). Phillip was 23, and L was 18. She was born in Mercer county.
His parents were Wm. & Mary E, hers were Sam'l & Ellen.
(Side note: A female child aged 4, named Lucy E., of Samuel and Elizabeth Hubbard died Dec. 1856.)
The image of marriage record is on the same page where his brother Crockett's marriage is listed.
A marriage entry for Phillip E. Scott and Stacy L. Lanter by John Johnson was recorded 7 Jul 1919.
