Louis D. Corwin, a well known and highly respected young man died at his home in East Waynesburg, Thursday morning, October 27, aged 35 years, after a three weeks' illness of pneumonia. Mr. Corwin was a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Corwin, of East Waynesburg, and was a well known printer and linotype operator. He learned the trade as a printer in the REPUBLICAN office and later was employed in the Democrat office. At the time of his death he was foreman of the composing room of the Democrat Messenger. He was a member of the Methodist Protestant church. Mr. Corwin was united in marriage with Miss Mollie McNeely, of Kirby, who with three children, Roy, James and Edith survive. Besides his parents he leaves five brothers, Delbert Corwin, of near Waynesburg, Dr. J. H. Corwin, of Washington, Pa.; Harry Corwin, of Sandwich, Ill., and Thomas and Raymond, at home. The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. David Jones. Interment in Oakmont cemetery.
